A huge weekend of recruitment! Yes, there will be a rivalry game between the Vols and Florida this Saturday at Neyland Stadium. The Vols will be looking for their next win in Knoxville, where the Gators have won 7 of the last ten games, after losing to Arkansas 19–14. In addition to seeking for the win, Josh Heupel’s Vols will look for players for their next generation. Indeed, a lot of athletes will be on campus for the game, making this Tennessee’s biggest recruiting weekend of the season. Tennessee is expected to have far over 70 names on campus. Sam Spiegelman’s Instagram post reveals a few names. There is a twist, though.
On his Instagram account, Sam Spiegelman posted, “Neyland will be rocking this weekend as Tennessee gears up for a massive recruiting weekend, which will include several key targets in the 2025 class, elite 2026 and 2027 recruits, and a few big flip targets 🍊.” This is where the twist came. Katrell Webb, a 4-star player at Travis Hunter’s high school, boldly commented, “am I not visiting this weekend…” It appears that his name was left out of the post, so he asks this question in a lighthearted manner to confuse followers and critics. Hold on, it could be his tactic to attract recruiters. Not sure.
