With the release of the November update, you will encounter new critters arriving on your island. Fishes arriving in Animal Crossing: New Horizons with the 2.0 update
Fishes are a great addition to New Horizons and several players like to collect all of them. There are three places you can catch fish from which includes the river, the beach, and the pond. Interestingly, certain fish are only available at certain times of the day, and usually, this ranges between 4 am, 9 am, 4 pm, and 9 pm.
With the arrival of the winter season, we will see several fishes arriving on players’ islands. A total of 11 fish will leave players’ island and 5 new fishes will arrive in November. The 11 fishes leaving the Northern Hemisphere region are listed below.

- Barred Knifejaw
- Char
- Cherry Salmon
- Golden Trout
- Guppy
- Mitten Crab
- Neon Tetra
- Ray
- Seahorse
- Zebra Turkeyfish
- Coelacanth
These are all the fish that will depart from your islands in November. Therefore, if you don’t have any of them in your inventory, make sure to collect them before they leave. The five fish that will arrive on your island are Bitterling, Blowfish, Tuna, Blue Marlin, and Football fish.
