Henry Cejudo, the Olympic gold medalist, the UFC flyweight champion, and the UFC bantamweight champion, has generated fair amount of buzz with his new “Inter Gender Champion” title. Cejudo called out women’s flyweight champion, Valentina Shevchenko for the first inter gender championship bout in UFC history.
Now we are all aware of the fact that Cejudo is playing a gimmick when he is calling out champions in Women’s divisions. However, Cejudo’s gimmicks are nothing but brilliant. Among all the flyweights and bantamweights, Cejudo is the only one who has been generating nuclear heat with his gimmicks from pro-wrestling textbook. Accepting Cejudo’s challenge Shevchenko has also thrown a few jabs at Cejudo on social media. And now we have a tougher and more decorated opponent for the King of Cringe, Henry Cejudo.

“CCC(Henry Cejudo) has one gold medal. I don’t know if he ever won a world championship. But I did. I won two Olympic gold medals. I am gonna win PFL title. Then I am probably gonna go and win bunch of more titles. So no matter what Cejudo does, he is never gonna go back to the Olympics and win another gold medal. He will never going to beat me. I am the real Champ Champ.”
Well, it seems now we have another contestant for the “Inter Gender Championship” as Kyla Harrison. it’s certain that the inter gender championship fight will never happen in UFC. However, it’s also certain that Henry Cejudo is going to respond to Kyla’s call out soon. It would be fascinating to see what does Cejudo has in store for Kyla Harrison’s challenge.
