‘It was a blessing’: Jaylin Smith
The documentary followed Jaylin Smith and several other young athletes of his age, all of who were extremely talented. Notably, it captured Smith as he dealt with the passing of his mother, whilst also trying to maintain his form at the same time.
Smith recently revealed how lucky he was to be a part of that documentary and how it turned out to be a blessing. Coming from a small town, it was a big opportunity for him to go outside and travel the world at such a young age.
“Oh man, it was a blessing. A young kid from where I’m from, you never really get that opportunity to play at a high level,” said Smith.
Smith feels grateful to be a part of the documentary
Smith further revealed that the documentary allowed him to get exposed to a world he hadn’t seen before.
“For sure, I don’t know what I would be doing without them…they got me far. They exposed me to different, other people you know, other people seeing who I was…it helped me out tremendously in the long run,” said the young athlete.
