The end of the LIV Golf Jeddah seemed to have treated the Koepka brothers with a mixed bag. Where one brother basked in the glory of success and victory, the other happened to play a losing hand with quite severe consequences.

During the LIV Golf Team Championship in Miami, Brooks Koepka shared his thoughts on his brother’s future. While iterating his opinion on Chase Koepka’s hard work behind the scenes, can the 29-year-old make a quick turnaround on his fortunes?

When asked about the future plans of the junior Koepka, the 33-year-old replied, “We haven’t had that talk of just trying to figure out what exactly the next step for him is.” The senior Koepka’s brotherly love could be seen during the interview as he further weighed in on his brother’s relegation matter and added, “I can’t knock him. He’s tried.”

The American gave a little more insight into the work and determination that junior Koepka is putting in. “I’ve spent hours working with him. We’ve gone out and practiced a bunch. He hasn’t given up.” From the elder brother’s words, it seems Chase is not ready to hang his gloves yet.

The Smash GC captain has spent years on the greens with the club in his hand. He has also seen winds change for many players over the years. Being not only the elder brother but also a pro golfer himself, Brooks Koepka has taken a much more understanding approach toward the younger Koepka’s current situation. “Unfortunately, look, I’ve been through spells, everybody up here has been through spells where they just don’t play good.”

The PGA Championship winner ended with the possible route that the 29-year-old might take and hopes for a better future for his younger brother’s professional career, “He worked hard, and sometimes the results don’t show right away. Hopefully they can show if he chooses to go The Asian Tour route and keep playing over there, and hopefully he’ll make it back out here. I’d love to have him again,” he said.
