World No. 1 Novak Djokovic is one of the most dominant players in the men’s game. His ability to turn defense into the attack is unmatched. The 34-year-old player has managed to create an identity for himself amongst the likes of rivals Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

Yesterday was Novak Djokovic’s birthday and the Serbian star turned 34. Wishes from all over the world poured in, but it was his wife Jelena Djokovic’s post that caught the eye. She uploaded a few posts and the messages in them were touching. Jelena mentioned the struggles he’s had in his early days and how he has worked hard for everything he has earned today.

In her posts, she mentioned, “The most special boy was born on this day. What a game-changer he is for so many young and old around the world. He didn’t have anything easy and he still doesn’t. All privileges he’s earned. And he keeps growing, keeps striving for that upgrade of his body, mind, and spirit.”

Jelena Djokovic wants the world to know how special is Novak Djokovic 

Jelena expressed gratitude as she gets to be with Novak on his most special day of the year. She maintained that her husband is well aware that he is dear to her. She stated that she wants people from all over the world to know how unique Novak is.

The Serb’s partner further added, “I love that about him. I love to tell his story… I am grateful that I get to celebrate this day with him, and tell him all this in person. He knows I know he is so special. But maybe you didn’t know so I better make sure the whole world knows how special this day is! A star was born! A very bright star in my universe. Happy birthday, amore!!!”

Coming to tennis, Novak Djokovic won his 18th Grand Slam title earlier this season at the Australian Open. He is currently focusing on the French Open, which begins in the coming week. It’ll be interesting to see if the Serb can win a second title in Paris.
