It’s semifinal time at the French Open 2021 and things are going to go down the wire. First up, we have Greek star Stefanos Tsitsipas taking on the German talent Alexander Zverev. It will be their eighth meeting today, and the previous ones have been dominated by the Greek player, winning five out of seven battles.
As we inch closer to this eagerly anticipated encounter, living legend Martina Navratilova spoke on this match and the possible outcome. The American representative picked Stefanos Tsitsipas to overcome the German obstacle and book the first spot in the final. Giving his current form and as history speaks, the path should be easy for the Greek star as compared to Alexander Zverev.
The 64-year-old former champion stated, “I think it is the 3 out of 5 sets thing. Also, it’s the pressure of playing in a Major. I’m not sure he has the confidence of being able to sustain it in 3 out of 5 sets and he has not been able to against the top 10 players.
