The Philadelphia 76ers vs. New York Knicks Game 6 was going to be special. This postseason has been shocking, week after week. First, it was the Lakers, then came the Suns, and tonight saw Milwaukee get tossed out, too. And now, it’s another very interesting and even more exciting matchup.

Naturally, there will be a crowd. And not just the general fans, but celebrities and athletes will turn up too. Since the game is at Wells Fargo Center, we can undoubtedly expect loyal Philly fans to be part of the glamor row. No one was disappointed as the popular comedy movie series The Hangover star, Bradley Cooper, was sitting courtside. He was sporting a Julius Dr. J. Erving jacket.

Aside from him, Philadelphia Eagles legend and running back Saquon Barkley, along with WR A.J. Brown, tipped their hats for the camera.

Done? Not close. The Philadelphia Phillies stars, Alec Bohm and Brandon Marsh were given the honor of ringing the bell before tip-off.

All the king’s horses and all the king’s men couldn’t put Humpty together again. Despite the showing of support from Philly’s cream and their minority owner, Michael Rubin, going to extreme levels to ensure a distraction-free environment, the 76ers couldn’t necessarily stave off elimination.

Those who thought a still rehabilitating Embiid would hold the team back were in for a surprise. In a game that should have seen dominant performances, ‘The Process’ scored 39 points, two assists, and 13 rebounds. He also shot 48% from the field and was a perfect 13-of-13 from the free-throw line.

Perhaps one of the most disappointing performances was from Tobias Harris and Kyle Lowry. The two combined for 42 minutes and scored 0 points. They each had 3 assists, while Harris grabbed four rebounds, and Lowry, 2. While all this happened, there were a few concerned fans of Bradley Cooper.

Philadelphia 76ers fans seem to be quite taken aback by Bradley Cooper’s look

And we are not talking about his outfit. It seems many still had the roguishly handsome Phil Wenneck in their mind when they heard Cooper was in the arena. But they were struck with a painful realization.

For example, this quick-handed fan commented on what everyone was still trying to process. “He’s getting old damn”

Yet another diehard fan, it would seem, commented, “My goat is getting old damn”

Another painful situation to swallow, we suppose. As for the terribly disappointed home crowd, all they can hope is Joel Embiid will stay healthy in the coming season and finally get a ring on his hand.
