The flight tests for Halo: Infinite has finally arrived after months of waiting by the community. The latest title of the iconic Xbox franchise will release in a few months during the Holidays. However, many players have already played some of the game because of this massive beta program. This helps the developers at 343 Industries to fix many issues like bugs and balance weapons before the game releases.
Recently, many players tried the game out for the first time, and gave their opinions on many of the classic weapons returning to Infinite. The game also has new weapons such as the Pulse Carbine, which has received a lot of negative reviews, with many calling it useless. However, it seems like, players have used the weapon incorrectly, and maybe looking at it differently might improve these reviews.

New Halo: Infinite weapon in Pulse Carbine misunderstood by players
For years, the Halo franchise has seen a lot of meta precision weapons. This included the BR55 Service Rifle, the DMR, and many more. They became quite popular in the game as they can perform well for mid range battles. However, they also could perform brilliantly in close or long range, making them very versatile for players to use.
This has become a massive problem in previous games as players wouldn’t use other weapons. Many of them used weapons like the BR55, DMR, Magnum and many more in the Sandbox, rendering others useless. However, the developers at 343 Industries want to change that with Halo: Infinite, and the Pulse Carbine is the answer to that.
Pulse Carbine is a beast at long range

The Pulse Carbine is probably the worst weapon in Halo: Infinite for close range battles as it travels at a very slow pace. This made several players believe that the Pulse Carbine is a horrible weapon to use in the game’s Sandbox. However, it has some use in the game, especially in long range. For long range fights, it’s a brilliant weapon to choose as this weapon shoots projectiles which move at a quicker pace. Along with that, enemies can’t dodge these projectiles as it tracks them if players can target the opponents within the red reticle.
This should change the approach players have with this weapon. With most enemies equipping ARs, they will have a hard time with players using the Pulse Carbine at long range. Along with that, it also takes the load off their shoulder as players don’t have to aim the weapon at all times because the projectile tracks the enemies.
