Halo: Infinite to undergo changes with its Battle Pass progression

Ever since the Battle Pass became live this week, players have noted a rather jarring quality about it. Currently, they have had a difficult time leveling up even after logging in hours on Halo: Infinite. The issue has become so pressing that players have spent over 12 hours only to reach somewhere around Level 5. With such slow progression, fans don’t receive rewards. However, it seems like the developers have plans to improve the situation.

Halo Community Manager John Junyszek revealed that the developers have noted the feedback from players. He mentioned that the developers will soon add ‘Play 1 Game’ challenges for easy XPs, which will speed up progression. Plus, he also stated that the developers will soon remove some of the Weekly Challenges that fans didn’t enjoy completing in the game. Additionally, some of them will also receive some tweaks as well to increase player progression on the Battle Pass.

Longer duration for 2XP Boosts and free reward

As these challenges will reset, players will lose progress of everything they have earned so far. However, to make up for these changes, 343 Industries will provide this week’s Ultimate Reward in the Sigil Mark VII Visor to any player who logs in between November 23-30 for free. Additionally, fans can earn more XP through the 2XP boosts as the duration for it increases from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Now, fans can easily score a lot of progression in many matches, especially the longer Big Team Battle matches.

In the end, it seems like Halo fans might have less to complain about the Battle Pass with these changes. However, many believe that 343 Industries need to add more changes for the Pass to be viable for many players. Until that happens, players will have a sour taste with their experience on Halo: Infinite.
