Halo is undoubtedly the biggest Microsoft exclusive series. 343 Industries is working on bug fixes and playtesting Halo Infinite. The most recent ‘Inside Infinite’ released on January 28, 2021, and it featured information on new guns and optimization for all devices.

343 Industries wants to release the beta and full game later this year. Many wrinkles must be ironed out before the full release, as the studio’s executive Quinn DelHoyo explained, “We have everyone fixing bugs on our launch content and some exciting efforts kicking off for future updates like-new vehicles, equipment, etc, we’re pretty much playtesting a ton and looking for ways to polish and improve everything.

“All of our launch content is in-game and being played daily, but it takes a strong effort to get something from 90% to a full 100% ship quality.”

Public beta confirmed for Halo Infinite

DelHoya also confirmed the pre-release public beta for Infinite. Even though the sandbox content is now finished, players may be surprised to see some revised visuals in the game. The sandbox refers to the game’s weapons, vehicles, equipment as well as player systems like health and shield recharge.

The full blog post also features a question-and-answer session between the fans and game developers. Additionally, information regarding the engine multi-threading solution is also available.

Halo Infinite’s release did not go to plan. Following the reveal, 343 received a lot of criticism about the game’s graphics. Subsequently, the studio was forced to delaye the release to 2021. 343 tried to justify this by saying that the game was still “very much in development”. Thegame will now release in Fall 2021.

Giving regular inside scoops and teasers about the game’s development has worked well for 343. The studio has promised fans that it will share updates as development progresses.
