Halo 3 completed its 13th anniversary just a few days back. This is a milestone for a franchise that has been a hallmark of Xbox exclusives. 343 Industries have announced a unique celebration to venerate it.
343 Industries is currently running a featured playlist called Halo 3 Classic Throwback. The devs have recreated Halo 3 maps that the players can access in Halo 5. Moreover, the devs have also tweaked gameplay settings to let the players relive the Halo 3 vibe. Staying true to the 2007 title, players can’t sprint in the game.

343 Industries giving the players a chance to enjoy Halo 3 once again
The Halo franchise is the backbone of Xbox exclusives. Each game in the franchise has been curated with a lot of detail, with each new title representing a shift in technology. Bungie, however, had shifted its attention to Destiny after developing the third title in the franchise.

The new playlist marks the celebration of the Halo 3’s anniversary, but it’s important to keep in mind that it isn’t a remake of the original game.
Fans for long have been waiting for a remake of one of their most beloved titles in the series. While Microsoft has kept a lid on it, they will probably announce it some time soon. Until then, fans can enjoy the iconic game through The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One and PC.

Infinite is the next title in the franchise and was supposed to release this year. However, the devs announced a delay in the title that will see the game release in 2021 since the game required a bit more time in the oven.
Naturally, the fans weren’t too happy with this piece of news. They had hoped the launch of the console would be accompanied by the new Halo title. Sadly, with how things are right now, the game will need quite some work and time yet. Until then, fans can enjoy the Classic Throwback that is available now.
