There is only so much heartache that a person can take and Guenther Steiner is reaching that limit. It may soon get to a point where heads will possibly start to roll in the Haas garage. Unsurprisingly, the clash between Haas F1 duo Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen could be the the last straw that breaks the camel’s back.
Speaking to Danish TV, team boss Steiner could only express his abject disappointment in both his wards. Steiner admitted that he has yet to talk to Grosjean and Magnussen and possibly give them a earful. He even revealed that after the Spanish Grand Prix, he set certain boundaries between them. Evidently, that personal rule was promptly ignored when Silverstone came about.
However, Steiner whole-heartedly confessed that a penalty or a sanction would be useless. The only course of action that he can see is if one of them gets sacked. According to a source, as reported by TheJudge13, after Silverstone, Steiner was so incensed that he wanted to fire a driver right away.

The source said, “What i’m hearing is that after the British GP, Steiner was furious at the drivers, blew up at them (for obvious reasons) and phoned Gene Haas for permission to fire a driver. Word in the paddock is that they are looking at Ocon to replace Grosjean. If possible, by the next Grand Prix.”
Steiner himself also admitted, “I’m still not over it. You’ve got a certain amount of opportunities and obviously this year we are struggling in some of the races.”
“We’ve got these big ups and downs and when we’ve got ups, we put ourselves down one way or another. So that is quite frustrating.”
“They need to understand where we are, and that’s the disappointing thing to me,” he continued. “They didn’t let me down as a person, they’ve let the team down, which is disappointing. And as I said, I’m still not over it – normally I get over things pretty quick, but this one, because we had a clear talk after [they made contact in] Barcelona, what to do and what not to do and it wasn’t followed, which is disappointing.”
The Haas F1 team have also struggled a lot in the 2019 Formula One season. It was a far cry from their promise of being the 4th best team and aiming to battle with Red Bull. This little rivalry came about because Haas’ title sponsor, Rich Energy wanted to ignite an ‘energy drinks war’. Sadly for the team, that promised pace never came this season and they are now second to last, only ahead of Williams F1.
Their troubles have only been made worse with the legal issues surrounding Rich Energy. It all kicked off with a copyright infringement lawsuit by Whyte Bikes over their stag logo. Then, there were reports that Rich Energy were going to leave Haas F1 over their poor performance. Then, there were talks of the name being changed to Lightning Volt Haas F1. Unfortunately, there is yet another roadblock, in the form of more legal issues.
Coming back to the issue of Grosjean and Magnussen, some fans are even trolling them. Also, it seems that Steiner already has a replacement in mind, mostly rumoured to be Esteban Ocon.
Ask Romain Grosjean or Magnussen, maybe they will be free this summer or next season ahah

I've predicted Romain Grosjean to be out of Haas by end of this season in the Real F1. But even in the game, Guenther Steiner has had enough of him and letting him go even before the season ends. 😂#F12019#careermode pic.twitter.com/0s5CdJtmw6
