Serena Williams has conquered everything that tennis has to offer. The American superstar has carried the flag of her country with utmost pride. The former World No. 1 is the proud winner of 23 Grand Slam singles titles. At the moment, she is only one title shy from equaling the great Margaret Court’s record. 

Recently, a clip of Serena Williams was posted on her Instagram story. She was with her daughter Olympia and the youngster was busy grinding tomatoes. On seeing the clip, one can sense the effort put by Olympia into the process of grinding. However, one must give credit to Serena for motivating and encouraging.

Serena Williams and Olympia are at it yet again

In the clip, Serena can be heard telling Olympia, “Grind those tomatoes. Good job.” Recently, Olympia and her father Alexis Ohanian accompany Williams to various destinations on the Tour. When Serena is away from the matches, they roam together as a family and indulge in a lot of amusing activities.

Coming onto tennis, Williams began competing in Melbourne. She came as far as the semifinal at the Australian Open before going down to eventual champion Naomi Osaka. After that, she was not seen for a while and resumed her season on the clay courts in Rome.

On clay, Serena did not perform up to her usual standards. She was unable to go deep into events and even at the French Open, lost in the fourth round. Thereafter, she was seen at the All England Club.

Sadly, she twisted her ankle and had to withdraw from the opening round match at the Wimbledon Championships. She even decided to skip the US Open as she was dealing with a hamstring injury. We hope to see her return to action and compete for the biggest honors in the game as soon as possible.
