“Great Ride”: Internet Applauds Bareback Riding Champion’s Second-Place Finish in Recent Rodeo Event

Last year the legend entered his ninth straight National Finals Rodeo. The bareback riding champ holds a big fan following with whom he interacts through his social media account. Recently, the bareback rider shared his riding clip at a rodeo which lit the internet on fire garnering applause from his dedicated fans for the superb display of skill and experience.

Tim O’Connell took part in the bareback riding event in Madison, Indiana Rodeo. The legend shared his ride at the event through his official Facebook page. In the clip of the ride, O’Connell was seen getting ready for his ride upon Boom Boom Girl. As the gate opened, the horse started with the purpose of throwing the rider off him. The Horse went on one side and tried every skill and angle to buck off the rider. At one point, O’Connell’s hat flew off due to the impact of the buck, but he managed to hold on to the rein. He gathered all his strength and experience to get the ride to the finish.

The bareback riding champ Tim O’Connell scored a fabulous 87-point at the Championship Pro Rodeo event. But, it was not enough for him as he missed the podium spot with a margin of 0.5 points. The first place was claimed by Jess Pope, who rode Tarnished Silver and earned $1,396. O’Connell added $1,058 to his total earnings with the second-spot finish. The 49-second clip got more than 4.5k likes and garnered valuable comments from the fans of the legend.

Despite coming in second place, Tim O’Connell’s fans still congratulated him on his 87-point ride at Madison Rodeo. One supporter said, “Great ride, I see another world title coming your way!” congratulating the legend and predicting that with his performance he may claim another world title this year. Another fan wrote, “Congratulations cowboy keep cowboy and up great great work” greeting the bareback rider and praising his ride. Another online surfer admired both the rider and the horse saying “You and Boom Boom Girl were great!” Another supporter said, “Awesome Ride Tim!” expressing his delight after watching O’Connell ride on Boom Boom Girl. Another fan was just amazed by the legend’s ride and expressed his feelings in two words “Cool Cowboy”.
