This is quite an ambitious project that was under development by Spokko Games, which is a part of CD Projekt RED. Spokko has been developing this title under wraps since 2018. Locate and slay monsters around you in the real world in The Witcher: Monster Slayer!
Here is how the description on the official website describes the game,
“Foul creatures roam the vast lands of the Continent — and it falls to those known as witchers to hunt them down. Set long before the time of Geralt of Rivia, The Witcher: Monster Slayer is an augmented-reality exploration game that challenges you to become an elite monster hunter.
“See the world around you transformed into the dark fantasy realm of The Witcher and explore once-familiar locations now infested with dangerous beasts as you start on the path as a professional monster slayer.“

Basically, the game will function like Pokemon GO. So, killing monsters and collecting trophies can now well be an accompanying task for your evening stroll, or a morning run. Also, the variety of monsters to feature in this game is higher than ever! You will encounter demons that you have seen before in the Witcher franchise, as well as a hoard of new ones.

Another interesting fact about the game is that it is set even before Geralt of Rivia came to be. So you might as well be donning the role of one of the very first Witchers!
The game has developed quite a hype since its announcement. Even we cannot contain ourselves in anticipation of this mobile title!
