Social media has huge power in the current day, and its users are the ones who wield it. Paige Spiranac often uses her huge influence to call out any injustice she sees going on. This, more often than not, gets her tons of hate and trolls. The ex-pro golfer once even commented on the famous fight between Logan Paul, whom she despised, and Floyd Mayweather, calling it “a money grab.”

On her Apple Podcast, Paige stated, “It’s a money grab, there is going to be so much money thrown for that fight.” She then also commented on the power that the “young demographic holds” and how she was astonished that there were people who eagerly awaited it or that the fight was actually happening.

She said, “It’s insane to see someone with a YouTube following or social following can make this happen.” Part of the blonde beauty’s annoyance with the fight stemmed from her hatred for the YouTuber. She was quite open about it too. She then explained the reason for her strong negative feelings towards him.

Why did Spiranac hate Logan Paul?

Spiranac, in her podcast, also went on and explained why she disliked Logan Paul. Paige claimed that Logan’s fans had threatened her in 2018. This was after she had called him out during an anti-bullying talk she had conducted at a school. Her talk was soon after Logan’s infamous adventure, and she was asked about her opinion on it.

Paige added that Logan should have been careful about what he posted online. She believed influencers with huge fan bases had that responsibility. Spiranac thought that the now-professional wrestler should have suffered more punishment for his actions. She said, “And I think he should have been punished more by YouTube or his sponsors.”

Paige was condemned for these words of hers and said“I ended up receiving death threats by all of these kids in that high school, that they were defending Logan Paul.” The golfing beauty explained that she believed that if someone’s fans lashed out with “horrible, horrible things” as they did just for criticizing him, then she just thought they weren’t good people.
