Chris Evert Caddies for Norman.

In 2009, Norman made a surprise appearance in the Masters Par-3 Contest. The contest is reserved for amateurs and past champions. Despite being 53 years old at the time, Norman put on a strong performance, finishing tied for third place. His return to Augusta National Golf Club was met with cheers and applause from the crowd.

Evert being Norman’s caddie made this event extra special. She was extremely apprehensive about going through with this. “I had decided not to caddie,” she said.

But she agreed to reconsider her decision if Norman really wanted her to be there. “But the last request came as the plane landed. I said I’d leave it up to him and if he really wanted me to do it, I would,” Evert added, as quoted by New York Times.
