Why do people call Kiradech Aphibarnrat Asia’s John Daly?
Furthermore, Aphibarnrat’s first professional victory came in 2009 at the Mercedes-Benz Tour’s Singha Pattaya Open. He won that event by 11 strokes, earning about $50,000. However, his first victory on the European Tour was at the Maybank Malaysian Open in March 2013. He is one of the leading golfers currently on the European Tour.
Aphibarnrat earned a special temporary member status on the PGA Tour and became the first Thai golfer to play on the PGA Tour. They even sometimes call him Asia’s John Daly. They make this comparison due to his unathletic physique and the similar body type that he shares with two-time major championship winner, John Daly.
