Nothing is more terrible than apathy and indifference. Anger means you’ve won, or at least drawn out the opposition, but disinterest cuts deeper. Ekblad’s reply to Koepka was excellent and had disinterest in it. However, Koepka did have it in him to defend his views on Ekblad.
After being questioned by a reporter as part of a news conference for LIV Golf Orlando alongside Patrick Reed and Bubba Watson, Koepka actually had more to say. Koepka was asked about his beef with Ekblad and did he bring the cone from home. Koepka answered, “I did not bring the cone. He gave up a bad goal. It was a bad pass in the third. I’m a die-hard P’s fan, and he gave up a bad goal.” However, surely fans of both sports are eagerly waiting to see if this feud will escalate further or if the two athletes will eventually bury the hatchet.
