Golf legend Tiger Woods has gone through a lot in his professional career, spanning multiple decades. However, the issue that stuck around the most was the severe pain in his back that has affected his gameplay in the latter years of his career. Longtime UFC commentator Joe Rogan picked up on that issue and pinpointed what led to it.

Tiger Woods himself described his back pain as a game of ‘bloody knuckles’, by this comparison fans might already understand the severity of this injury. Meanwhile, Rogan blamed the golf ace’s ‘style’ that has led to this injury.

In a conversation with popular comedian Bill Burr back in 2017, when Woods was going through a tough phase in his life, Rogan said, “Tiger always had a bizarre style, apparently. I don’t play golf, but apparently, people that I have talked to that explained me the way you would hit the ball.”

“like it’s not the way they teach you to do it, but he could do it so well that way, but he put ridiculous amount of torque.”

“For him, it’s a double dump though, you know. The things happen personally with his personal life and it happens publically where everybody gets to see it and top of that his body is falling apart at the same time,” Rogan continued.

Woods, apparently, had a herniated disc that resulted in a nerve compression, which further led to severe pain and agony. After his surgery, Woods got the herniated disc removed that pressed on a nerve root.
