The interaction of entities from different games has always been thrilling for a true sports enthusiast. Football and golf have a long-standing friendship, and many players play both sports in their spare time. A lot of football players have dabbled in golf. This includes Ruud Gullit, John Terry, Gareth Bale, and many more.

A highly regarded coach is now included on this list – Kirby Smart, Georgia Bulldogs head coach with six football national titles, doesn’t hesitate to demonstrate his abilities in other sports, especially golf. Smart knows how to play ‘smart’

This is not the first time Smart has shown off his golfing antics. Last year, he competed at the Regions Tradition pro-am golf tournament at Greystone Golf and Country Club in Birmingham. Together with Tommy Tuberville, Smart also took part in the 2022 Peach Bowl Challenge charity golf outing. With a total final score of +44, the pair came in fourth.

“My golf game was never very good, so COVID probably helped my golf game because we had a lot more time on our hands and downtime,” Smart said. “We couldn’t work with the student athletes, so I got to play more.”
