The famous quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, have reached the grounds of the NFL. They have an upcoming match with Philadelphia Eagles. On the other hand, just a few miles away, PGA Tour pro, Justin Thomas, is busy hitting bunker shots in the WM Phoenix Open. However, these sports stars are waiting for a dream to come true, but there is just one condition that needs to be met.

What is stopping Justin Thomas and Patrick Mahomes from fulfilling their plans?

Earlier this week, the former number-one golfer swapped his golf clubs with a mic. On Tuesday, Thomas attended Super Bowl Media Day as an interviewer. He talked to Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts and asked them questions. However, while doing that, he revealed a plan he had made with Mahomes long ago. They both have set a condition that has to come true.

Thomas revealed his unknown plan with the quarterback and said, “we joked that they win the Super Bowl, I win the Waste Management, and we’re going straight to Vegas.” Both the pros had this conversation a year ago in Miami, during an F1 race. Only time will tell if that will happen. But for now, we can hope that the trip will include some golf swings, having fun on the golf course, and bouncing ideas off each other. Thomas is also interested in playing with the NFL MVP during the off-season.

Can Thomas win the WM Phoenix Open?

According to the CBS expert pick, Thomas does not have much chance of winning. Scottie Scheffler is already leading, whereas Justin is at T16 on the leaderboard. His short game is good, but still, he is not on the list of favorites. Despite being competitive, he is rarely in real contention.
