Videos of John Daly and his jamming sessions have always enlightened the world of golf. The golfer sings his heart out whenever he gets the opportunity to do so. Ahead of the PGA Champions Tour event, Daly had the opportunity to have a jam session with a three-time Grammy Award Winning band member.
Dick’s Sporting Goods Open is currently taking place in En-Joie Golf Club in Endicott, New York. Being part of the PGA Champions Tour, the event will feature some of the big names of the sport such as Vijay Singh, Pádraig Harrington, John Daly, and many more legends.

Zac Brown Band, an Atalanta-based Country music band, was set to perform ahead of the tournament in New York. However, a day before their big performance, Big John decided to have a little of his own concert alongside the band’s lead singer, Zac Brown.
John Daly sings “Knockin on Heaven’s Door” with Zac Brown
It’s safe to say, every golf fan is well aware of John Daly’s love for singing. The 2-time Major Champion adores singing in the public. However, it only got better for Daly as he had the opportunity to sing with Zac Brown.

In the video posted by the PGA Tour Champions Twitter handle, both legends in their respective streams seem to be having a great time together. But what enlightened most fans more apart from their singing was their little conversation in between.
While watching Daly play the guitar, Zac Brown was surprised to notice how good the golfer was with the musical instrument. Brown even appreciated complemented by saying, “You are better than Kid Rock”. The singer then asks Daly if he has any guitars at home. The golfer replies by saying, “Lot of them”.
The 56-year-old then proceeds to sing the famous Gun N Roses song, Knockin on Heaven’s Door, with his beautiful vocals. However, after singing the beginning verses, John Daly stops singing and says, “This is weird singing in front of Zac Brown by the way”.
Daly then says, “Give me a golf club”, and laughter erupts in the room. In the end, the golf legend proceeds to hug Zac Brown. Though the two stars share a special moment, fans on Twitter had different perspectives and thoughts on the moment.

Many fans paid respect to both the stars, while others pointed out Daly’s love for the song “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door”. The 2 time Major champion has too many videos of singing the same song in different venues in the past. However, most fans loved Daly for showing so much enthusiasm in life in the video.
