He then went on to talk about his rookie year on the tour when he won two events including the PGA Tour championship but still for the President’s Cup he failed to get picked. This incident coupled with his recent missing out on the Ryder Cup has made him come to a realisation.
He said “I can’t put any stock into getting picked. I have to make these teams on my own which is the way it should be here if you’re leaving yourself to a pick then you can’t be upset for not getting picked because you didn’t make the team”
