West turned pro in 2005 and won 5 times on the LPGA Tour. She has also emerged victorious in one major championship. Even after retiring from the sport, she is still one of the most renowned and loved female golfers.
The LPGA legend recently went on her social media to wish her husband, Johnie West on his birthday.

West posted 3 pictures of her husband; one with their daughter where her face was hidden, and two of them together. She wished her husband a happy birthday with a heartwarming message and posted it on her IG story. In her second story, the ex-pro golfer posted a short yet affectionate message, she wrote, “Life is a million times better with you in it.”

Jonnie West is the Director of Basketball Operations for the Golden State Warriors NBA team, and he is the son of legendary NBA player, Jerry West.

The ex-pro golfer revealed last year that the two met through a very special mutual friend in 2018. That mutual friend was Justin Thomas. He played a crucial role in the couple meeting each other.

The two were an exciting couple as they got engaged within 3 months of meeting, and eight months later, in 2019, they officially ties the knot. In 2020, the golfer gave birth to their daughter, Makenna Kamalei Yoona West, and following her motherhood, Michelle announced in 2022, that she would be retiring from the sport, following the 2022 US Women’s Open.
