With social media flourishing and sports becoming a tool of entertainment, sportsmen themselves are no less than celebrities. However, a few of the sportsmen have changed their careers and switched to starring in movies. One of those golfers is Christopher McDonald, popularly known as Shooter McGavin. The former no. 1 golfer has even showcased his acting talents in the classic comedy movie, “Happy Gilmore”.  For those unfamiliar with the movie, Shooter McGavin is the main antagonist, and his portrayal by actor Christopher McDonald has become an iconic character in pop culture.

He recently had his fans react after sharing a video of a fan going crazy on the grounds of TPC Scottsdale. Well, the legendary golfer has once more put his fans in a frenzy over his resent tweet addressed to Adam Sandler. This time, he is back at his first love, golf. Clearly, Shooter McGavin has still got the talent inside.

Recently, the former No. 1 player, Shooter McGavin, posted a video on his Twitter handle. It was captioned as, “Hey @Adam Sandler, just wanted to let you know… I still got it.” It had been awhile since the fans had seen the old lad on the golf course; this had to create a stir among his fans.

Some of the people were still stunned by how McGavin still had golf inside of him. One talked about how brilliant his hockey ring was. Some thought the tweet was a hidden sign of the release of a sequel to Happy Gilmore. Moreover, fans did not stop at reading between the lines, they rather narrated the whole script of the movie’s sequel. Fans are going insane after seeing McGavin on the course and tagging his co-star, Adam Sandler.

Shooter’s recent tweet has even brought back the golden memories of the movie for some of the fans. However, as his fans await for his return to the senior tour, they have even considered the title of his movie sequel. Die-hard fans of the movie could not stop reiterating the scenes and dialogues of the movie in the comments.

Many families now watch the movie on a regular basis. Where there are fans, there has to be humor; one such fan commented that it was now time to hit the red lobster. “Once a legend, always a legend,” that’s what one of his fans had to say. Another Twitter user asked for Shooter vs Gilmore at Cypress Point. Although, that is not where the demands of the fans stop; one even wants a Shooters Tour.
