28 years after her parents’ divorce, John Daly‘s daughter, Shynah Daly uploaded an unpublished photo on her Instagram story on Mother’s Day. The image provided a direct window into her family’s past. The photo emphasized the strong link between the mother and daughter.

Shynah Daly wrote on her Instagram story sharing the photo, “Happy Mothers Day to my beautiful Mama!!”

“All the badass moms out there,” she also added.

The photo serves as a reminder of the bond between Daly’s wife Bettye Fulford, and his daughter. Fans have responded well to the moving image and expressed their respect for the enduring bond between mother and daughter.

The second marriage of Daly: A Shared Legacy

The golf underdog has had four marriages. His first marriage, which took place in 1987, was to Dale Crafton; the couple separated after only three years of marriage and divorced in 1990. A short time after that, Daly discovered love once again with the stunning Bettye Fulford. In 1992, just two years after Daly’s first divorce, he and Fulford said their vows to one another, marking the beginning of Daly’s second marriage.

Sadly, the end of their marriage was turbulent and heartbreaking. Disturbing charges were made about John Daly in 1992; he was allegedly charged with attempted murder. He was charged with throwing his wife against a wall in a particular incident.

The specifics of the case, though, are still unknown because Bettye opted not to make any additional information public. In his memoirs, Daly claimed he was innocent and had never inflicted harm on a woman. In the end, the couple’s divorce was finalized in 1995.

Daly married Paulette Dean that same year. The couple divorced in 1999. Daly then met and married Sherrie Miller in 2001. But in 2007, him and Sherrie got into an intense fight at a restaurant in Memphis, wherein Daly claimed that his wife attacked him with a steak knife. He showed up to the second round of the ongoing Stanford St. Jude Championship with cuts and bruises on his face.

After reporting the incident, authorities came to his house, but Sherrie had already fled the scene with her son. Sherrie was convicted on federal drug charges sometime later and they got divorced.
