When Paige Spiranac turned pro in her career in 2015, she did not know that she would have to give a rest to her professional career so soon. Spiranac retired from professional golf in 2016 after she failed to make the cut at an LPGA Tour event that year. It has been around 7 years since the golfer put her clubs down for competing in professional tournaments and events, but it appears that the game of golf still awes the former pro, and likes to amaze her.

Golf has shown in the last two weeks how uncertain it can be. Golf enthusiasts had jam-packed weekends of spectating golf with the US Open and Travelers Championship. The winners of both tournaments were the golfers that nobody expected to win. As a result of this uncertainty, it is becoming really hard for the fans to pick their winners.

PointsBet Sportsbook, one of the legal platforms for golf betting, recently posted a video with Paige Spiranac sharing “how sometimes golf = pain.” Spiranac referred to the game as a “real mothereffer,” and in the explanation of the remark, she discussed how sometimes she still fails to understand the sport.

She started talking about how Keegan Bradley, Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas, and Jon Rahm have shown totally opposite performances in the two weeks that have passed by. Explaining how it’s possible, only one explanation came to her mind, “it’s just golf.” 

The former golf pro then said, “I have been a week off every single week. This keeps happening to me and it has been driving me crazy.”

Going into the details of how the game still upsets her sometimes, she said, “I pick up Keegan last week and he wins this week; I was on Jason Day for the longest time, the week I didn’t pick him, he wins. Rickie Fowler, I have been picking up for a while because he’s trending, of course, I am not gonna pick him in the week, he’s going to win”  

Well, despite being retired for 7 years, it is amazing to see how flustered the beautiful former golfer gets when she gets her guesses wrong! But, well, it’s just golf and this is how it works; A game full of predictions and sassy uncertainties. 

Spiranac gives a word of advice to all the golf enthusiasts 

For everyone who likes to spend some time spectating golf, and wants to engage in betting on the sport, Spiranac shared a piece of advice. The advice that she shared was to follow her picks, but instead of getting disheartened about them not winning, “keep with them as next week, they are going to get it done.” 

Even after becoming one of the most successful golf influencers, Spiranac still fails to understand the uncertainties of the game, and according to her, everyone who plays the game understands the uncertainties it comes with.
