32 Years After a Life-Changing Moment, John Daly Brings Out His Special Weapon for a Historic Celebration

Cobra Golf recently turned 50, and the celebration was huge. For those who might know Cobra Golf, it is a leading golf equipment company that only believes in superior quality products. Cobra Golf does things a bit differently, but all in the pursuit of enjoyment of the game. John Daly honored their recent golden jubilee celebration, and he came bearing a fantastic and legendary surprise.

Tisha Alyn, a pro golfer on LPGA Tour, shared on her Instagram some glimpses of the stunning celebration that went down on the occasion of Cobra Golf’s 50th anniversary. John Daly, who brought his secret weapon along with him, graciously attended the occasion.

John Daly brought with him his Cobra Driver, with which he took home the title of the 1991 PGA Championship. Tisha Alyn and Daly played a few shots together with the iconic Cobra Driver and it was nothing less than surreal. The two enjoyed some drinks and fun banter together.

Tisha Alyn posted an array of pictures and videos, giving fans a glimpse of the celebration. Alyn questioned Daly, “What made you put the Cobra club in the bag?” She then continued to take Daly’s drink from his hands so that he could hold the mic and answer the question. To which the 1991 PGA Champion replied, “You can’t get any prettier, but that’s just you know.” The two shared a laugh post his answer. 

Daly was praising his time back in the 1991 PGA Championship and how the Cobra driver was his big driver. It helped him hit 320-330 and rock the championship.

Cobra Golf launches limited edition Aerojet drivers for its 50th anniversary

Cobra Golf has introduced new Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Aerojet and Aerojet LS drivers to commemorate its 50th anniversary. These drivers feature a unique gold color scheme that pays homage to the accent trim used in the brand’s iconic Baffler Woods and King Cobra irons and drivers.

In addition, the 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Aerojet and Aerojet LS retain the original models’ key performance features, such as aerodynamic shaping that improves swing speed without requiring more effort.
