Wyndham Clark was ready for the ultimate test, facing Tiger Woods, but the G.O.A.T. has only echoed anticipation. Clark had never played a competitive round with Woods before and was excited to finally have the chance. But, Woods’s withdrawal left Clark “heartbroken.” He revealed on The Rich Eisen Show that he was looking forward to the match, and Woods’s absence was a letdown. Clark jokingly said, “I hope he hears this.”

The Jupiter Links Golf Club, co-founded by Woods and Rory McIlroy, was where Clark was supposed to play Woods. Clark’s disappointment was palpable, and he couldn’t hide his excitement about the prospect of playing against one of golf’s all-time greats. Despite his disappointment, he’s been clutch for The Bay Golf Club, even sealing a match with a walk-off eagle. Fresh off his third PGA Tour win, Clark’s form is real good, and he’s proving he’s a force in both traditional and tech-driven golf. But who’s his trouble ahead?

We all saw Kim struggling with slow play, and the golfer himself said so, but that doesn’t seem to have an effect on the fans. Despite his pace of play issues, fans are still hailing Tom Kim as the MVP. He has been open about his struggles with mental barriers affecting his pace of play, but it seems his talent and performance are overshadowing his slow play concerns.

Starting off strong with what this one fan said, “Tom Kim, for sure,” while the other said, “Tom Kim is him.”  Well, Tom Kim has had some pretty over-the-top performances, but his latest display in the TGL might just take the cake. The 22-year-old golf sensation channeled his Presidents Cup intensity, holing three pressure putts to halve holes and almost sinking a hole-in-one in regular time. And when it came down to the wire, Kim and Kevin Kisner clinched victory for Tiger Woods‘s Jupiter Links side in overtime, edging out Rory McIlroy‘s Boston Common in a thrilling contest.

Woods loved the match’s energy, calling it pure TGL. McIlroy, even in defeat, said Tiger Woods brought major-level intensity. One fan wrote, “It’s Tom Kim. He’s the only guy on Jupiter trying rn,” while the other fan said, TK easy.” No shock—Tom Kim’s a fan favorite for his sportsmanship. But even his rivals can’t help but give him props.

Schauffele, once at odds with Tom Kim, after their Presidents Cup clash), now applauds Tom Kim and Si Woo for their sporting energy. “They were very hard. PC and I had to bring out some of our best stuff to beat them last night,” he said. “I have a lot of respect for everyone on that team, but the Koreans definitely bring the heat, no doubt.”

Another fan commented something that perfectly sums up the situation:

“Tom Kim all the away. Personality plus fabulous play.”  Well, what are your thoughts on the matter? Let us know in the comment section below!
