Wyndham Clark started The PLAYERS Championship with a bang, scoring back-to-back birdies in both rounds. While this time last season he was without any wins on the PGA Tour, this year he has created history! Clark became the first golfer at the PLAYERS to shoot 65 or lower in the first two rounds.
Just weeks before competing at TPC Sawgrass, he also won at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. One of the main reasons behind that win and his stunning performances since are the few changes he’s made to his golf kit. And now that same kit may help him win golf’s ‘fifth major’!

Titleist-sponsored Wyndham Clark recently made a switch from playing with his TSI to making TSR3 his driver! The brand new driver has a 9-degree head and a Project X Hazardous Smoke Green 60 TX shaft. The rear weight also looks to be in the dead neutral position, which is the stiffest profile. Since changing his long-hitting club, the golfer has been driving bombs on the course!
Coming to his 3-wood, Clark uses a TaylorMade Qi10, which has the standard 15-degree head. Clubbing it with a Project Z Hazardous Smoke Black RDX 80 TX, the golf pro makes best use of its low launch and low spin. When compared to the Hazardous Smoke Green that he uses in his TSR3 driver, however, this shaft has a softer profile.
For the irons, Clark uses the Mizuno Pro Flight-Hi for his 3-iron and the Titleist 620 CB, for which he has the 4 through 9 irons. His Mizuno iron is fitted with the Mitsubishi Tensei AV Raw White 100HY X, while for the other 6 irons he uses the True Temper Dynamic Gold X7.

Clark uses Titleist Vokey Design’s SM10 wedges for his pitching, sand, and gap wedges. Although they’re seen a lot on the Tour, they are not sold in retail to the public and are made specially for pros. The one-time major winner also uses a 60-degree Vokey Design Wedgeworks wedge. He pairs these clubs with a customized shaft of—you guessed it right—True Temper Dynamic Gold, using the Tour Issue S400 this time around.
For his beautiful putts on the greens, Clark has shifted to the Odyssey AI-One Jailbird putter, which also has a SuperStroke Zenerfy 1.0P Claw 13 grip. He also uses the Golf Pride Tour Velvet Cord as his overall gripper for the rest of his clubs. The PGA Tour star, like many other pros, used a Titleist Pro V1x ball on the course.
