It is widely considered an impossible task to fix a broken marriage. Many celebs have tied over the years and separated their different ways in a short span. The couple of Greg Norman and Chris Evert too had a troublesome marriage. The sporting couple’s marriage was so long gone that not even the $55 million mansion could save it.

Norman decided to marry Evert back in 2008. The former world number ones tied the knot in the Bahamas. However, unlike their previous marriages which lasted for decades, this wedding ended after 15 months.

Following their separation, several reports surfaced in public. One such report indicated how the couple would spend time together at each other’s mansion, but never lived together.

Instead, they would sleep over at each other’s houses. Nonetheless, the houses weren’t any usual homes. The mansion ‘Tranquility’ owned by Greg Norman, is where the ex-couple would spend most of the golden times together. The eight-acre Tranquility property has a huge beach-to-Intracoastal Waterway enclave.

The tennis legend had bought the house after her divorce from ex-husband Andy Mill. The 12,296 square feet mansion has eight bedrooms, eight bathrooms, formal public rooms, a library, and a cook’s kitchen geared to entertain on a grand scale. Nonetheless, following her divorce from Norman in 2009, Evert decided to sell the mansion for $4.99 million that same year.

As far as Norman’s Tranquility is concerned, the Shark sold his Jupiter Island Mansion last year for a staggering $55 million. Though many fans pointed out that the failure of Norman’s marriage was due to the couple not living together, others defer from the idea. Regardless, it is the decision and life of the Hall of Famers who make the final call of their personal life.
