Michelle Wie West’s post-retirement chapter

After her initial retirement as a pro-golfer due to her many injuries, she had come back for a final gesture of nostalgia in the 2023 US Women’s Open. Although the five-time LPGA star failed to make the cut as she went on to score 73 (+2) and 74 (+3) in her first two rounds, she had proved herself to be a pillar of inspiration for many.

While being away from the game, the ex-pro golfer has been much active off the course from teaming up with sponsors to promoting women’s golf. Earlier she had collaborated with Nike to design a new version of the Air Jordan 1 Golf “Wave” which was sold out in just 5 minutes.
