Tiger Woods’ legal troubles against Erica Herman continue

Erica Herman, whom Tiger Woods dated from 2017 to 2022, is not ready to give up on her fight against the golfer just yet. In May, Herman requested to have the NDA she signed with the golfer in 2017 nullified due to a legal clause that offers exceptions if there is evidence of sexual harassment or assault. However, Judge Elizabeth A. Metzger of the Circuit Court in Martin County ruled in favor of the golf legend. Herman had even called for the court to reopen the case. But the request was denied on June 2, resulting in her latest legal move.
Now, Herman is filing an appeal, further extending the legal drama that has been the talk of the golf community for months now. As per the court records acquired by USA Today Sports, she is now taking the case to the Fourth District Court of Appeal in Florida.

Earlier in October of 2022, following her breakup with Woods, she filed a lawsuit seeking financial compensation from him. However, there has been no ruling on the matter to date.
Most recently, the golfer became the topic of conversation after the $3 billion PGAT-LIV deal was made public. Just hours after the merger announcement, golf fans were treated to an update about Woods’ TGL league. Soon after the Jay Monahan-led PGAT announced its decision to merge with rival LIV Golf, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy ended up taking the internet by storm. Instead, it was brand-new information about their upcoming high-tech indoor golf league, the TGL, that got everyone talking.

In the update, the TGL disclosed the creation of its first-ever team, the Los Angeles Golf Club. Additionally, sisters Serena and Venus Williams and Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian were announced as the owners of the franchise! Fans also got to catch sight of the team logo as well as a short promo video.
However, Williams and her husband aren’t the only big names associated with the league. Many in the golf world expect the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Justin Timberlake, Stephen Curry, and more to take the plunge as well!
