Snoop Dogg is not an unfamiliar name to most. He has been successful at making a mark on the music industry and has received a number of accolades as well. His unmatched presence on the stage has amassed a lot of fans from all over the world including the game of golf.

And making herself known as a fan of the musician is none other than Michelle Wie West. The athlete had retired from the sport in 2023 owing to her prioritizing her family, among other reasons. And now, what caught the attention of the sporting world was the ex-pro golfer’s admiration for the American rapper as she took to her social media to drop a bombshell of sorts, surprising both the golf and music community!

Although West has been away from the game of golf, this did not stop her from coming out as a fan of the 52-year-old. The athlete shared a story on her Instagram handle which included a video of the artist performing on stage with Will Ferrell and John C Reilly.

During the all-star event hosted by Ferrell, Best Night Of Your Life 2, to raise money for the Cancer For College initiative, the actor performed the famous  “Boats ‘N Hoes” rap single with Reilly and Snoop Dogg.

And having a fangirl moment was none other than the ex-LPGA Tour pro who seemed to be absolutely enjoying the performance of the trio. Moreover, she shared the story with the caption, “I would have died of joy if I saw this in personnnnnn,” all the while expressing her happiness for the same.

However, if you think that this is the only time a golfer has expressed their love for an artist, then you are wrong. Not too long ago, a certain PGA Tour Pro had revealed himself to be a fan of Taylor Swift.

Max Homa revealed his love for Swift and her songs when he shared an Instagram post on his official handle. The golfer was spotted wearing a white T-shirt donning the artist’s face with the infamous “Starbucks lovers” phrase.

Moreover, in another instance, he was asked about his love for her songs. The 32-year-old went ahead to express the same while dubbing the star’s performance as nothing short of “life-changing.”

And now, we have another golfer in our hands as West shared the story to her profile while exclaiming how she would have died if she saw it in person. Well, comforting news for Homa no less!
