The PGA Tour and LIV Golf controversy has given rise to many other feuds. Players like Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy have spearheaded the PGA Tour’s side, while LIV Golf, CEO Greg Norman, golf legend Phil Mickelson, and Bryson DeChambeau have been outspoken for LIV Golf. These players’ comments and statements have sparked numerous debates.

Rory hasn’t held back his punches when it comes to lashing out at LIV Golf or Greg Norman. And in a recent interview, he bluntly said, “I think Greg needs to go.”
Rory McIlroy says Norman should leave LIV Golf
In a recent interview, Rory was asked what he thought needed to happen for the two sides to get together and hash it out. Rory said that the lawsuits between the two sides needed to end first because that limited the discussions.

McIlroy went on to say that presently there was not a lot that could happen, and there was a possibility that a judge could make the decision, but for now, the matter was at a halt. He also went on to say, “There’s a few things that I would like to see on the LIV side that need to happen. I think Greg needs to go. I think he just needs to exit stage left.”

Rory McIlroy went on to say that Norman was a child and that the discussions would be futile with him in charge of LIV Golf. He said, “No one is going to talk unless there’s an adult in the room that can actually try to mend fences.” He also went on to add that nothing can proceed until Norman is out of the picture. “Right now, it’s a stalemate because there can’t be any other way.”
Rory never misses a chance to strike at Greg

McIlroy has been very upfront about his dislike for the shark. It wasn’t the first time he had slammed Greg in an interview. Back in June, the world No. 1 had won the RBC Canadian Open, making it his 21st PGA Tour victory.
In the post-match interview, Rory made it a point to point out that he had won more than Greg. He said, “Twenty-one PGA Tour wins, one more than somebody else.” He also went on to say, “The guy that’s spearheading that tour has 20 wins on the PGA Tour and I was tied with him and I wanted to get one ahead of him.” It is clear Rory will take whatever chance he has of calling out Greg.
