Known for having an aggressive style, dribbling, passing, and scoring skills, Caitlin Clark is an admired athlete. She currently plays for Indiana Fever in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). Clark also likes to spend her off-season on the greens. When she shared her golfing plans, Joaquin Niemann and other pro golfers couldn’t contain their excitement.

When asked about her off-season plans, Caitlin Clark revealed, “Play some golf. That’s what I am going to do until it’s too cold in Indiana,” in a post-match conference. Foreplay also shared a post on Instagram. Following that, Torque GC’s Instagram handle commented, asking, “Should we play a match with her?” while tagging the team captain, Joaquin Niemann. Niemann also seemed excited about it as he responded by saying “Sounds good,” with a thumbs-up emoji.

Last year, Caitlin Clark played at the John Deere Classic pro-am. She played the first nine holes with the Swedish pro-Ludvig Aberg. Later, she showcased her skills with Zach Johnson for the back nine holes. Following that, Johnson talked about Clark showing his admiration. “I can’t speak highly enough about how she handles herself, whether it’s in interviews or just the way she goes about her work. Obviously, she’s had a lot of awards and success, but she always goes back to her team,” he said.

Interestingly, she also has a strong history with golf, and she once revealed it in a press conference, saying, “It’s just cool getting to interact with all the young kids that were here today and really enjoy being around them. I used to run around golf courses and want to go to golf events when I was a young kid or basketball events, and it can really change your life if they can have one interaction with you.” History isn’t the only thing that motivates her to play golf.
