After an exhilarating LIV Golf event in Adelaide, the touring party moves to Singapore for its debut $25 million purse event on the Island country. While some of the other stars were asked about their expectations and excitement for the new destination, the Fireballs GC captain was surprisingly left bereft of any relevant questions.

Instead, the 2017 Masters winner was predominantly asked about his experience of playing at the Valderrama circuit, the Spanish course that is set to host the LIV Spain event later this season. With the event still two months away from the schedule, one questions the merit of the interview conducted for one of the marquee players on the field.
Has LIV Golf given the cold shoulder to Garcia?
Ever since joining the Greg Norman-led series for an eye-watering figure of $40 million, Garcia has failed to light up the crowd. He hasn’t notched up a single victory on tour this season, with a best-place finish of ninth at LIV Tucson.

Yet, it is far short of expectations. Despite being one of the captains in the team format league, Garcia’s team, Fireballs GC, has only managed a solitary victory at LIV Golf Invitational Bangkok last year.
But while other star names have been far off their prime self on the LIV tour, seasoned golfers made a name for themselves at the Masters Tournament recently. Easily the most watched golf event of the season, numerous LIV golfers played their best game in a while to force their names into conversations again.

On the same page, the recent LIV Golf event in Adelaide was nothing short of a spectacle, with tons of thousands of fans frolicking the course. While the mood at the camp seems delightful at the moment, things seem downcast with respect to one of their most influential players off the field.
