With the Masters only two weeks away, the adrenaline in the golf world is running high. While many golfers may have begun their preparations for the Augusta National, some golfers such as Rickie Fowler, are still unclear about their invitation. Qualifying for Mastes may be an easy task if you have a Major to your name or are among the top 50 golfers in the world. Previous Masters winners also receive a lifetime invitation to Augusta National Golf Club. However, others still have to undergo different routes to secure their spot.
One such talented PGA Tour star was Rickie Fowler, who had to make it to the quarter-finals of WGC Match Play to get into the top 50 rankings to receive the Masters Invitation. Nonetheless, he failed to make it to the top eight and hence will decide his Augusta National’s participation in next week’s Valero Texas Open. While Fowler’s invitation to the Major may be in doubt, let’s take a look at the other talented golfers who will have to go to Georgia next week.
