Harman emerged as the leader of the scoreboard at the $16.5 million Open Championship after the third round on Saturday. Although the golfer has displayed a stellar game the past three days, there is something about his pre-shot routine that is attracting quite a lot of attention.
On Saturday, at the 12th hole, a spectator recorded a preshot moment of the golfer, and he particularly thought that his television was “glitching” as he captured the moment. He posted a video on Twitter of the 36-year-old waggling at least 12 times before he swung his club to hit the ball toward the hole.

While the golfer was on the 12th hole, he was in the lead with four shots, but his waggling and waddling were just over the top. But the question arises: Why does the golfer do it? Well, whatever he does, it seems to be working out just fine for him. Harman’s coach, Justin Parsons, revealed that he is aware of his routine and that it is something he is working on. But the golfer primarily does not pull the trigger on the shot until he believes he is ready to do so!

The waggles may be about pulling the trigger when the golfer is ready, but for the golf fanatics, the delay in the shot is not sitting well. And taking to the viral video on Twitter, they made sure Harman knew their feelings!
The golf world reacts to Harman’s waggles
It could certainly be right to say that the waggling causes delay in the golfer’s shot and hence causes the entire game to slow down, thus bringing the golf world back to its hot topic of slow pace, and fans were quick to point this issue out online!
One A fan commented that such instances are not good for the game!
I wholeheartedly hope that kids don’t see this and grow up to think it’s something they need to do to succeed.
