Rory McIlroy has repeatedly proved that he is one of the busiest golfers on the greens. The Northern Irishman hardly misses the cut when he shows up at a tournament. Even though he has been on a decade-long draught for claiming any Major titles, the 23-time PGA Tour winner still has victories lining his resume.
Making it into the FedEx St Judes Championship this season was a feat that McIlroy cherishes. After all, he can still reclaim his FedEx playoff titles and these plays have made him over $61.2 million in his career. He has planned his schedule ahead for his time on the golf courses from now to the Ryder Cup, with a special treat in between.

One of the best things about being on a high run in a golfing career is the ability to plan a schedule. Therefore, when the Northern Irishman had to RSVP for his friend’s bachelor party scheduled to be hosted on the Greek island of Mykonos, he checked ‘yes.’ In fact, the PGA pro is ecstatic about the reprieve from swinging the golf club and partying it up with his friends.
The 4-time major winner spoke about his schedule explaining that he will play at the three FedEx Cup Playoffs for these three weeks. The rigorous gameplay will be followed by a week to unwind. Then he will have to head over to Europe for two more tournaments, namely, the Irish Open and the BMW Championship. He will have yet another week off after playing the Open in his homeland followed by the event at Wentworth.
The week before Ryder Cup 2023, McIlroy will be in the neighboring country, tanning and enjoying with his pals. “I’ve got a buddy’s bachelor party in Mykonos after Wentworth for a few days, and then I have a few days to dry out before the Ryder Cup,” he shared as per Bunkered. The 34-year-old will need the downtime to gather his strength for the US vs Europe gameplay at the Marco Simone Golf Club in 7 weeks.
