To her own surprise, the former golfer became a star overnight after her appearance at a golf event. In a recent episode of the Playing a Round podcast, the gorgeous golfer was in conversation with her co-host Sam. During their conversation, Sam asked the golfer who she wanted to switch lives with, if given a chance, for a day. Almost straight away, Spiranac mentioned the World no. 2, Nelly Korda.

“Probably Nelly Korda—to see what it feels like to win a tournament,” she said. “See what the other side of it’s like to actually be respected and accomplished for your skills.”

Spiranac digs further into why she wants to be Nelly Korda for a day

Known for her profound golfing abilities, Korda has been an inspiration to several golfers, including Spiranac. Continuing to speak about walking in her shoes for a day, Spiranac said it would be “really interesting.”

She continued, “I know what it feels like to do the media side and be the best at what I do. But it’d be nice to see what it feels like if I was, you know, number one in the world.

“And to win.

“And to feel like to be a winner.”

At one point during the conversation, Spiranac seemed to be a bit emotional about the fact that she wanted to be respected for her golfing skills. It is quite understandable considering that the golfer is often taken for granted by fans on social media. But there is no doubt that with all the experience and expertise she has in the sport, Spiranac is definitely a fine golfer.
