Golf can be a complicated sport. Mastering the long drives, the fairways and the greens can be a challenge. However, in barely any of those circumstances, a golfer would ever require a fireman to help him or her out. Unfortunately for one Maryland resident, a visit to Topgolf didn’t go as planned.

Known for its branches globally, Topgolf has given every avid golfer an opportunity to cherish and conquer long drives. However, in one of its branches in National Harbour, the fire brigade was called after a customer’s embarrassing moment.

Swinging on the edge at Topgolf can be a challenge but it can’t be that awful. While trying to imitate the greats of the sport, one National Harbor resident decided to swing as good as any PGA Tour pro. Details regarding his swing are still unknown, but the aftermath glimpse has been going viral.

The man reportedly fell on the nets below the driving sessions. To help the fallen customer, a fire brigade was called. One of the onsite viewers caught the visual on camera and posted it on Tik Tok. Since then, the video has been viral around the golf social media space.

In the video, the unfortunate man could be seen stuck in the nets barely even able to move. The fireman tries to reach out to the stuck golfer using their ladder. To add more misery, other customers stopped swinging and started enjoying the sight of the firemen helping the stuck golfer. While the moment had been embarrassing for the person, he isn’t alone when it comes to falling into the nets at a Topgolf branch.

Different Topgolf, same result for men

Similar to the stuck golfer in Maryland, another person had an identical incident nearly six years ago in Topgolf’s Forth Worth branch. Though the Texas man had a clean swing at the ball, it was his celebration that caused his downfall.

He raised his hands and moved forward before eventually falling down into the nets. While his fall scared many, unaware of the nets, the man’s embarrassing fall was then met with cheers and laughs. Regardless, the Texas man now has a company with Topgolf’s National Harbor branch fallen golfer. Perhaps the duo must catch up together and discuss their ever-trending Topgolf falls.
