The game of golf has its own ups and downs, as players can lose or win a game within a matter of seconds. This time, the PGA Tour was at the Farmers Insurance Open, which is easily one of the highly-anticipated events of the year. However, Will Zalatoris, despite his best efforts, ended up losing the event and his first title to Luke List.

Having said that, keeping oneself motivated and carrying on becomes crucial in times like these. Zalatoris, who has previously lost by a narrow margin, makes it a point to motivate himself.

What did Will Zalatoris have to say about his Farmers Insurance Open loss?

According to Zalatoris, his feelings are quite similar to what he was feeling back on the Kon Ferry Tour. If all goes his way, Zalatoris might actually take home his first-ever PGA Tour win. “The emotions are a bit from Korn Ferry (Tour), right before I got my first win. I horseshoed one from about 15 feet and then won the next week,” Zalatoris said after List won.

“Fuel,” wrote Korn Ferry Tour as they shared Zalatoris’ words.

Of course, if the 25-year-old puts his mind to it, he can win a PGA Tour title.

Notably, the event that Zalatoris lost by one shot was the 2020 Utah Championship. A week later, he went home with a TPC Colorado Championship win.
