Will Lexi Thompson's presence at the FM Championship elevate the competition to a whole new level?

The inaugural edition of the LPGA FM Championship is set to begin this Thursday and golf fans expect to see a competitive four rounds of golf for their favorite golfers to be involved in for a share of the $3.8 million prize money. But will 29-year-old Lexi Thompson be teeing off in TPC Boston?

Lexi Thompson, who intends to retire at the end of the season, will be teeing off in TPC Boston at 07:59 AM from the tenth hole along with Jeeno Thitikul and Nasa Hataoka on Thursday. The field at the first-ever FM Championship will include 10 out of 16 LPGA Tour winners including Lauren Coughlin, Hannah Green, Moriya Jutanugarn, Yuka Saso and Linnea Strom. 5 of the Rolex Women’s World Golf Ranking top 10 will also be playing. The field includes Amy Yang, former World No.1 and headliner Jin Young Ko, Hannah Green, Celine Boutier, Rose Zhang. The top five on the rankings will not be competing in the tournament.

Several rookies will also be teeing off on the Arnold Palmer-designed course. The list includes the likes of Gurleen Kaur, Alexandra Forsterling, Isabella Fierro, Savannah Grewal, Jin Hee Im, Nataliya Guseva, and Minji Kang.

These competitors will battle the historic course which opened in 2002 and has a long history of hosting PGA Tour events such as the Deutsche Bank Championship, later renamed the Dell Technologies Championship stopped in 2018. How to watch the FM Championship?

The FM Championship can be watched in a variety of ways. Peacock and Golf Channel will be airing it live from 3.30 to 6.30 PM EST and 7.00 to 9.00 PM EST, respectively, on Thursday and Friday. And both channels will be airing it from 2:30-5:30 PM on Saturday and from 1:30-4:30 PM on Sunday.

It is also accessible on the internet in the form of streaming. ESPN+ will be streaming the event from 8:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday they will be streaming the event from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM and on Sunday from 9:30 PM. to 3:30 PM. NBC Sports App, Peacock, LPGA Live, and golfchannel.com will also be streaming the LPGA event.
