The sixth event of the very exciting LIV Golf 2025 season is set to kick start at Mexico City this week. The spirits will be relatively high in the LIV camp after the recently concluded Masters, where two LIV Golfers finished in the top 5 of the standings, with Patrick Reed finishing third and Bryson DeChambeau finishing T5.

The LIV Mexico event will be a welcome return to the fold for several golfers seeking a sense of normalcy after a tumultuous few days at Augusta. But how will the weather hold up at the Club de Chapultepec at Naucalpan in Mexico? Let’s see what the forecast says.

The weather report for Day 1 and Day 2

The event is slated to kick-start in the afternoon with a shotgun start at 1:05 PM Local Time. The weather is expected to be partly sunny with temperatures hitting 78° F. When the sun hits, it is likely to have a deep impact as well, with the UV Index expected to be extreme. The weather is expected to cool down in the evening. There is a 21% chance of rain, but it is not expected to be intense.

Winds will likely cap off at 13 mph with not much resistance offered to the golfers. A pleasant golfing weather is expected on Day 1. Day 2 is also expected to be the same. A mix of cloud and sunshine is to be expected. If you are attending the event, ensure that you are properly protected with sunscreen as the UV Index is expected to be high on Saturday as well.

 

There will be a bit heavier air, as the humidity is expected to increase to 43% on Saturday, but the temperature is expected to cap off at 75° F. The rain probability remains (19%), and the wind speed is also likely to remain the same.

Are you prepared for Sunday in Mexico?

The finale of the sixth LIV Event of the season at the Club de Golf Chapultepec is expected to be fairly sunny. The chances of rain are significantly reduced, and so is the cloud cover. Wind speed is expected to stay in a similar vein with a 14mph forecast. The high temperature will be 79° F.

Humidity reduces significantly from Saturday to 33%. Sunscreen is again advised as cloud cover will be significantly less compared to the other days. The Sunday weather allows for some excellent golf viewing. Now it is up to the top golfers on the LIV circuit to deliver to the fans.
