The first event of the LIV Golf Series in the wake of the Masters Tournament is around the corner. In what was successful conduction of the event, LIV defectors made quite an impression within the golf community, eliminating any thoughts about their competitiveness heading into the season’s other majors. It also revived the stigma around some of its seasoned players, but what has LIV Golf changed to catch onto its current euphoria?
LIV Golf announces a couple of changes for the Adelaide event
The LIV Golf wave has never soared any higher. After great results at the Augusta National, several fans would be hoping to catch a bit of its action in its upcoming event.

To retain the incoming fanbase, a small tweak has been made to the tee timings of the event. Heading into LIV Golf’s first event on Aussie land, the Greg Norman-led team has come up with an idea of partnering the best players together.

They displayed the first-round schedule today, which complied all the team captains together, a first in the series. But that wasn’t the only first of the event.
Additionally, all other team players were paired together for the first round. The new decisions led to a wave of support from fans on the internet, which could be a sign of things to come as far as LIV Golf’s reputation is considered. Here’s a selection of those tweets.

Logical way to do it on a Friday. Might be a good practice for future tournaments too. 13 1/2 hour time difference between Adelaide and East Coast U.S., so that's 10:15 pm Thursday when they have the shotgun start.

Is LIV Golf on the up after Masters success?

Though Brooks Koepka won the last LIV event in Orlando, not many suspected the 32-year-old to take center stage at the Masters. Yet, the four-time major championship winner took from his LIV victory and made a strong impression at the Augusta National, eventually succumbing to a joint second-place finish.
But the rise in Koepka was just another example of LIV Golf’s dominance across the field. Statistically, the eighteen LIV defectors performed better than non-LIV golfers, which also became a talking point for many.
