The captain of RangeGoats GC, Bubba Watson, has been spewing facts lately. Watson’s choice to join the LIV golf team stunned the golfing community last year. However, the 44-year-old has stated his intention to “beat them all” as he prepares to compete against other well-known players at the Augusta National in a few days. Earlier, he revealed the fact about the ongoing rivalry between the PGA Tour and the LIV Golf League. Now, he is back with another major revelation about himself, which might shock you.

Bubba Watson reveals his splurging actions

Watson recently engaged in a small interview with CW Sports on the greens. The reporter first asked him about his love for cars and which one he would prefer. Without any delay, the LIV defector said, “It’s a trick question. The car I have never had is a Mustang Eleanor, so I’d love a replica of an Eleanor car.

But the next question, “After your first big win, what was the first thing you splurged on?” revealed some major unknown facts about him. Watson further talked about the symbols he spent big bucks on, and said, “all the symbols and all the lettering was lime green lights underneath were pink and lime green lights inside were lime green.” But that was not only once. “So yeah, that was my splurge. Two times. Why go one when you can go two?” the pro golfer added.

In fact, fellow LIV Golf player Ian Poulter is also in love with cars. He has a huge collection back at his home. However, he has been busy taking rounds of the Orange County National Golf Club’s Crooked Cat Course near Orlando. But surprisingly, he is not using any of his cars; instead, he is using a helicopter to take a good look at the golf course and avoid Orlando traffic. It is safe to say that two big names of the LIV Golf League are car fanatics.

The LIV Golf Orlando is approaching, and the biggest event, the Masters Championship, is also only a few away. He will be playing with the PGA Tour pros at Augusta National. It is obvious to believe that there might be some weird awkwardness between the players of the two Tours. But according to The Mirror, Watson claims he has felt no awkwardness while practicing. It is all in the media.

He claims that the media has overstated any alleged “awkwardness” between PGA Tour players and their LIV rivals. Watson spoke to media at Orange County National in Orlando, Florida, and said, “I’m going to be honest, man. It’s only awkward in the media. I’ve talked to people that are going to be there.” He added, “[The] media is the only one that is pushing it.”
