Just like any other sport, golf comes with a lot of trials and tribulations. It is important for players to stay motivated despite facing harrowing results in tournaments from time to time. Wyndham Clark, who turned pro in 2017, relies on his girlfriend, Alicia, during good and bad times in his career.
When Clark was playing at the 2023 Wells Fargo Championship, he did not have any friends or family by his side. “I’ve had a lot of people show up for tournaments in the past when I’ve either been leading or one shot off the lead or had a chance to win, and every time they showed up, I didn’t win,” he had mentioned to Vanessa Hughes of Mile High Sports Magazine.
Eventually, the golfer went on to win the tournament, scripting his first-ever win on the PGA Tour. But, right after his win, the first thing he did was speak to his girlfriend. “I FaceTimed my girlfriend, Alicia,” he had confessed. In the interview, Clark also shared that his partner lived in Scottsdale, just 25-30 minutes away from him.
While Alicia may not have been there in person during Clark’s first PGAT win, she was a strong presence at his side during the 2023 US Open. In videos that went viral on the internet, she was jumping around in joy after the golfer beat multiple-time major winner Rory McIlroy by one stroke. The couple even shared a sweet embrace amidst the jubilant celebrations at the LACC. Clark’s siblings, Kaitlin and Brendan, were also present at the course.
The major win was an extremely poignant achievement for the golfer, who dedicated it to his late mother, Lise Clark. Alicia has, no doubt, been a rock for the US Open winner in these emotional times.

Despite a handful of wholesome appearances here and there, Wyndham Clark and Alicia are a notoriously private pair. The PGA Tour pro, who goes by @wyndhamclark on Instagram, does not offer much insight into his personal life on the social media platform. He mostly shares photos and videos from golf tournaments or practice sessions with his online fan base. His girlfriend is also active on Instagram. However, just like her boyfriend, she keeps a low profile as well.
In the past, the golfer has reportedly dated Julia Kemmling. He had uploaded a photo with her to his Instagram over five years ago. A former collegiate golfer, Kemmling now works as a coach. Back in 2019, Quinnipiac University’s women’s golf team hired her as their assistant coach.
